    APPLICATION FAQS

It generally takes anywhere from one to three months, depending on your nationality and the completeness of your submitted documents. After approval and payment, you’ll receive a welcome package and then schedule an appointment to have the Elite visa placed in your passport.

    • A copy of your passport’s identification page (with at least 1 year of remaining validity)
    • A color ID photo (high-resolution, plain white or light background)
    • A completed and signed membership application form
    • A copy of current visa/ latest arrival stamp (if any)

All nationalities, except for those from North Korea, are currently eligible to apply for the Thailand Privilege Card.

In this situation, the Privilege Entry Visa will be affixed only up to your passport’s expiration date. Once you renew your passport, you can have the remaining validity of the visa added to your new one. Additionally, you must have at least three blank pages available in your current passport, and the visa term is granted according to your membership’s validity.

Consider how long you plan to stay in Thailand (5, 10, 15, or 20 years), whether you need a single or family membership, and the range of privileges and benefits that each tier offers. If you’re still unsure, contact the provider for personalized consultation.

    2. Diamond: 1,500,000 THB per family member
    3. Reserve: 2,000,000 THB per family member

Yes, you can apply, but your application may face a higher risk of rejection. To help avoid this, you should submit documents like the school’s establishment license, registration, student certification, academic records, attendance records, and any relevant class activity photos. Yes, you can apply for a Thailand Elite membership; however, because Elite visas function as a type of tourist visa, you cannot simultaneously hold a Non-Immigrant B Visa with a work permit. You must cancel your Non-B Visa before validating the Privilege Entry Visa (Elite visa).

Yes, you can apply for Thailand Elite membership with a Tourist Visa, Visa on Arrival, or Visa Exemption (TR). If you’re still in Thailand with a valid tourist visa when your membership is approved and you have received your Thailand Elite ID, you can make an appointment at least seven working days in advance with the Member Contact Center (MCC) to have the Elite Visa affixed at the Chaeng Wattana Immigration Office.

Yes, you can apply if your visa is still valid. Once you receive your Thailand Elite membership ID, you can schedule an appointment at the Chaeng Wattana Immigration Office through the Member Contact Center (MCC). However, you must cancel your current Non-Immigrant visa before the Elite Visa (PE) is affixed. Detailed instructions and the necessary letters will be provided.

Yes. Every foreign child, regardless of age, requires a valid visa. If they attend school, an Education visa can be obtained through the institution. Alternatively, children can be added to the Platinum (10-year) or Diamond (15-year) Thailand Elite memberships. If a child under 14 does not have a valid visa, an overstay stamp will be placed in their passport but no additional penalties are applied if they depart with a parent holding a valid visa.

    1. Provide your flight details and hotel information at least 5–10 days in advance.
    2. An Elite Personal Assistant (EPA) will meet you at the arrival gate, guide you through immigration, and affix the visa (typically 20–30 minutes).

Overseas at a Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate:

    1. MCC will send your membership details to the embassy or consulate, which can take 21–30 days.
